Inventory and Procurement Specialist

This role manages inventory, procurement, and distribution of maintenance materials and supplies to support commercial maintenance technicians and facility operations at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. The specialist serves as the primary liaison between maintenance teams and vendors, ensuring proper stock levels and timely availability of materials for building maintenance and repair work. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries. The position also involves operating material handling equipment, managing mail and package distribution, and utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order and inventory tracking.
