About this role

This position offers a 4–6 month transition program providing hands-on clinical experience and advanced training in a fast-paced procedural environment. Externs work under the guidance of experienced IR/Cath Lab professionals while completing a structured orientation and competency-based training program. Successful completion may lead to placement into a permanent IR Technologist or Cath Lab Technologist role.

Responsibilities

Assist with interventional and diagnostic imaging procedures
Prepare patients, equipment and procedure rooms in accordance with safety standards
Maintain sterile technique and support physicians during procedures

Skills

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Radiologic TechnologyARRT certificationBLS certification
