About this role

The Senior ISSO Security Analyst will work with Veterans Affairs stakeholders to coordinate and drive Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps 0-6 ATO activities, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain security documentation throughout system lifecycles. The role involves providing security expertise, leading client-facing meetings, and ensuring compliance with VA authorization policies and NIST standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and drive completion of RMF steps 0‑6 ATO activities
Create and update security artifacts and FISMA documents
Analyze authorization documents and identify compliance gaps
Lead client‑facing meetings and present complex ATO topics
Organize and maintain large volumes of security data with expiration dates
