About this role

As an ISSO Security Analyst, you will coordinate Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities with Veterans Affairs stakeholders to ensure appropriate security posture throughout the system lifecycle. The role involves creating detailed security documentation, identifying and mitigating risks, and translating security concepts into actionable recommendations for IT deployments. You will act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity and information security compliance while managing complex authorization requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and drive completion of RMF steps 0-6 ATO activities
Identify and mitigate risks for information systems throughout lifecycle
Create and maintain detailed security artifacts and FISMA documents
Translate security concepts into actionable implementation recommendations
Lead client-facing meetings to present complex authorization topics
