About this role

Leidos is hiring an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a large U.S. Department of Defense enterprise IT contract. The role involves maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation within the Risk Management Framework, validating system configurations, and coordinating remediation efforts. Key duties include working in the XACTA system, managing Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), and serving as a liaison between the contractor, customer program leadership, and government officials.

Responsibilities

Review and maintain Authority to Operate documentation throughout system sustainment
Utilize XACTA system to update Risk Management Framework security packages
Monitor and update Plan of Action and Milestones for open risks and vulnerabilities
Coordinate accreditation renewal activities with Cyber Security division and DAO
Mentor system administrators on evolving security best practices and remediation
