About this role

The ISSO/ISSE supports the Cybersecurity Leads in managing Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorizations, sustainment, and security reviews for the Military Health System GENESIS system. Responsibilities include conducting primary cybersecurity reviews of system architecture, developing security policies, tracking vulnerability remediation, and ensuring compliance with DoD and DHA requirements. The role requires subject matter expertise in network security assessments, documentation, and maintaining operational security postures across global medical treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

Maintain RMF Authorizations and conduct Annual Security Reviews
Perform primary cybersecurity reviews of system architecture and artifacts
Develop and update cybersecurity policies and procedures
Track vulnerability remediation statuses and POA&Ms
Ensure systems meet requirements for ATO and ASR approvals
