About this role

Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Asset and Lifecycle Manager to serve as the primary authority for IT asset management, lifecycle planning, and inventory accountability for a high-visibility government customer. The role involves managing Government-Owned Equipment and Government-Furnished Property, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic recommendations for technology refreshes and replacement roadmaps. This position requires proactive monitoring of hardware lifecycle status, warranty coverage, and obsolescence risks to maintain mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

Manage Government-Owned Equipment and Government-Furnished Property throughout the lifecycle
Develop and maintain technology refresh schedules and multi-year replacement roadmaps
Conduct physical inventories, audits, and reconciliations to ensure asset accuracy
Provide executive-level reports on inventory health and lifecycle risks
Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to align lifecycle planning with mission requirements
