About this role

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an IT Infrastructure Systems Architect to design, develop, and document complex IT system architectures that support engineering IT infrastructure for satellite, launch, weather modeling, and simulation. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting in Windows and Linux environments, cyber protection, and integration of security principles across mission‑critical services.

Responsibilities

Interface with engineering groups to define service-oriented requirements
Translate customer needs into service offerings and architectural designs
Test system patches on hardware‑in‑the‑loop configurations and coordinate installations
Integrate software and hardware IT services across the mission enterprise
Provide Tier 3 administration and maintain operations of unique engineering platforms
