About this role

As an IT Network Design Engineer, you will lead infrastructure design projects for Abbott's global physical environments, supporting hosting platforms and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role encompasses designing low-voltage systems, overseeing on-site installations, and acting as a technical subject matter expert for acquisition and divestiture activities. You will provide Level III support while managing vendors and maintaining engineering documentation across multinational sites.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer IT physical infrastructure solutions and cabling systems
Support implementation and lifecycle management of hosting environments
Oversee on-site infrastructure installations and hardware implementation
