About this role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to lead Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ) activities for next-generation Combat Management Systems within the Royal Navy's Type 31 programme. As the technical focal point across the full system lifecycle, you will drive system acceptance, manage integration issues, and interface between engineering teams and operational end users. This role offers the chance to work on a flagship naval programme, ensuring complex mission systems are delivered and tested to operational standards.

Responsibilities

Lead IVVQ activities across the Combat Management System lifecycle
Develop and execute comprehensive system test plans and procedures
Support subsystem integration and resolve complex compliance issues
Produce installation documentation for harbour acceptance and sea trials
Act as key interface between engineering teams and customers
