This Senior Software Engineer role sits in Sonar’s IDE Experience squad, building and evolving the SonarQube for IDE extensions used in leading development environments. The position focuses on creating features that ensure both human- and AI-generated code meets high quality and security standards directly within IDE workflows. The engineer will deeply engage with multiple IDE ecosystems and extensibility SDKs, shaping the future of developer tools at Sonar in close collaboration with open source and internal stakeholders. The role is based in Bochum within a diverse, global, and mission-driven engineering organization.
