About this role

Repsol is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Engineer for its Low Carbon Generation team in Spain to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of high-voltage and instrumentation systems at its combined cycle plant. The role involves planning electrical maintenance, optimizing control systems like SCADA and PLCs, and leading internal and contractor operations while adhering to strict industrial safety regulations. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering alongside proficiency in technical tools such as AutoCAD and SAP.

Responsibilities

Plan and supervise preventative and corrective maintenance for electrical and instrumentation systems
Manage and optimize distributed control systems including PLCs and SCADA calibration
Lead internal staff and external contractors to ensure project quality and schedule adherence
Analyze operational anomalies to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Coordinate interdepartmental activities with operations and safety teams to maintain compliance
