John Deere Sponsored Technician Training Program

This program offers a supervised work experience paired with a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree through Wake Tech Community College, focusing on either Agricultural Equipment or Construction & Forestry Mechanic tracks. Sponsored technicians receive paid internship opportunities, tools, and uniforms while completing in-person classes and on-the-job training at a James River Equipment dealership. Upon successful completion of the degree and training, participants transition into full-time mechanic positions with tuition reimbursement.
