Journeyman Job Description Electrical

The Maintenance Journeyman is responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and lighting in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, identifying and correcting electrical hazards, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems throughout division facilities. The position requires maintaining a valid Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician License and completing applicable continuing education requirements.
