Journeyman Mechanic

Under the direction of the Fleet Manager, this position performs mechanical work at the journeyman mechanic level to repair, maintain, and road test various types of trucks, automotive, construction, and off-road equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, as well as performing routine maintenance and emergency service calls. The position requires operating specialized tools and equipment to ensure the functionality of municipal vehicles and machinery.
