About this role

A Junior Environmental Planner at Seneca Federal Solutions supports the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in preparing and managing environmental documents and records, coordinating with federal and tribal partners, and providing field support.

Responsibilities

Assist senior and mid-level environmental planners with the preparation, revision, and processing of NEPA documents
Support coordination and tracking of NEPA actions through internal databases and tracking systems
Perform environmental records management, including organizing, cataloging, and digitizing paper and electronic environmental files
Maintain document control and version tracking
Provide administrative and programmatic support to DESCRM staff

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Planning, Biology, Anthropology, Geography, Natural Resources, or a closely related field0–2 years of experience in environmental planning, environmental science, or a related fieldBasic understanding of NEPA and federal environmental complianceStrong organizational, writing, and document management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
