The company is seeking a Junior Silicon Photonics Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of next-generation silicon photonic integrated circuits. This early-career role involves supporting the design, simulation, and characterization of photonic components and subsystems alongside senior engineers. The position offers a unique opportunity to build strong fundamentals in photonic design and gain hands-on experience in chip development.

Responsibilities

Support the design and simulation of silicon photonic components and small subsystems
Assist in the design and analysis of waveguides, modulators, and photodetectors
Run optical, electrical, and thermal simulations under guidance from senior engineers
Help with PDK usage, design rule checks, and layout-aware simulations
Support chip tape-out activities, data analysis, and lab measurements
