Juvenile Correctional Officer

The Juvenile Correctional Officer is responsible for the health, welfare, and programming of pre-adjudicated youth in a secure detention setting at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center. This role involves supervising daily activities, serving as a mentor, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff through de-escalation techniques and evidence-based practices. The position requires working various shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends.
