Juvenile Counselor I

The Department of Juvenile Services is recruiting a Juvenile Counselor I to join the Custody Services team, a 24/7 operation responsible for the custody, secure transportation, and security of youth referred for law violations. The role involves making critical custody decisions, conducting interstate and inter-facility transports, providing courtroom security, and managing crisis interventions. This position works overnight shifts, including weekends, and is represented by the AFSCME labor organization.
