K9 Handler

The K9 Handler is responsible for screening cargo in compliance with TSA rules and regulations while supervising and training handlers and canines at assigned locations. The role involves conducting authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical searches, and explosive trace detection, as well as managing post assignments and schedules for canine teams. This position requires maintaining training records, ensuring the care and maintenance of the assigned canine, and operating within varying work conditions including inclement weather and frequent interruptions.
