About this role

Leidos is seeking an AFSIM Analyst/Engineer to apply domain knowledge to integrated digital engineering for conceptual system development within the Defense Systems Kinetics Business Area. The role involves assessing and evaluating combat weapon systems using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, or Modeling (AFSIM) and Python to determine system attributes that improve survivability against foreign threats. Candidates will support the acquisition community by making informed investment decisions for future combat systems through operational analysis and military utility assessments.

Responsibilities

Conduct operational analyses using AFSIM analytical framework
Evaluate combat weapon systems for survivability against threats
Develop constructive models and simulations of combat operations
Articulate complex technical insights to support acquisition decisions
Collaborate with teams to overcome engineering and code development challenges

Qualifications
