The Knowledge Mobilization Specialist strengthens the impact of Community Support Services across Eastern Ontario by acting as a bridge between innovation and practice. Candidates will lead regional initiatives, translate research into actionable insights, and facilitate shared learning through training and partnerships to support sector evolution.
Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) is a nonprofit community organization that connects residents of western Ottawa with social, health and community supports. It delivers programs and services for children, youth, families and seniors—including early years and family supports, referrals, and community outreach—while partnering with local agencies to coordinate care. WOCRC helps people navigate local resources and access practical supports to promote wellbeing, inclusion, and community resilience. Services are offered in both English and French and are tailored to local needs.
