About this role

The KYC Operations Analyst supports the development and management of Internal Know Your Client (KYC) programs at Citigroup, coordinating with Compliance and Control teams to ensure regulatory adherence. This role involves validating customer records, screening for sanctions and politically exposed persons, conducting periodic reviews, and escalating suspicious activity for senior management attention.

Responsibilities

Validate KYC records and Customer Identification Program documents
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled client reviews across risk classes
Screen customers against sanctions lists and check negative news
Ensure all documentation complies with local regulations and firm standards
Escalate suspicious product usage and documentation discrepancies to management
