Lab Assistant, General Laboratory

The Lab Assistant in the General Laboratory at LeConte Medical Center provides phlebotomy services, collects and processes venous and capillary blood specimens, and performs clerical duties such as patient registration, order transcription, and specimen tracking. The role also includes customer service, handling telephone inquiries, and supporting laboratory quality improvement activities on the night shift.
