Certification as Laboratory Assistant from CSMLS, OSMT or another agency recognized by the Laboratory Licensing Branch of the Ministry of Health of the Province of Ontario or equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo years experience preferred in a medical laboratory as a Lab Assistant or MLT within the last five years preferredSatisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search
