About this role

This role involves analyzing business processes within a chemical R&D environment to establish workflows for lab digitalization solutions. The position requires leveraging advanced digital technologies to implement customized automation and digitalization solutions for laboratory processes. Additionally, the incumbent will expand into an application manager capacity to support specific laboratories in optimizing and maintaining these systems.

Responsibilities

Plan, deploy, and maintain laboratory automation solutions including robotic systems
Identify, evaluate, and implement digital applications tailored to laboratory needs
Proactively engage with laboratory teams to elicit and manage digitalization requirements
Plan and track lab digitalization projects from initiation to delivery
Ensure the security and compliance of digital/automation systems and data

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering or related fieldProven experience in lab digitalization or automation projectsHands-on exposure to digital lab platforms such as ELN, LIMSExperience with laboratory automation technologies and instrument integrationFluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
