About this role
The Lab Phlebotomist performs specimen collection including venipuncture and nasal/oropharyngeal swabs and is responsible for specimen receiving and preparation. The role uses laboratory and hospital information systems to enter orders, look up results, and generate reports, and includes answering phones and routing issues to appropriate areas. This position supports patient care across all age groups and occasionally requires travel to off-site locations.
