Laboratory Assistant

About this role
Under supervision of the section supervisor, performs non-technical laboratory assignments at UHS Wilson Medical Center, processing specimens in accordance with hospital, NYSDOH, CDC, and departmental policies. The role emphasizes timely handling of specimens with priority for STAT processing and supports Infection Control and Blood and Body Fluids procedures. This is a full-time, evening rotational position (40 hours/week).
