The Laboratory Director leads Brookhaven National Laboratory, providing executive leadership for its multidisciplinary research programs, facilities, and strategic direction. The Director reports to the Brookhaven Science Associates Board and serves as the Lab’s principal liaison to the U.S. Department of Energy. The role includes stewarding major scientific transitions (e.g., RHIC to EIC) and representing the Laboratory to national and international stakeholders.
