About this role

This temporary laboratory internship supports water quality laboratory functions at the River Mountains Water Treatment Facility through routine and moderately difficult procedures. The successful candidate, who must be a current college student in Life or Environmental Sciences, assists with equipment maintenance, media preparation, and quality assurance programs under general supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory procedures to support water quality analysis
Clean, decontamine, and sterilize glassware and equipment
Prepare media and reagents for laboratory testing
Assist in the laboratory's quality assurance program
Execute related duties as assigned by supervision
