Laboratory Support Technician-Lab Administration

The Laboratory Support Technician processes laboratory specimens for testing, evaluates specimen acceptability, and enters patient and test information into the computer. This position serves as the main communication and customer relations center for the laboratory, monitoring test requests and responding to customer inquiries. The role contributes directly to patient care by accurately and timely processing specimens and dispersing information both within and outside the laboratory.
