About this role
Per diem Lactation Specialist who facilitates Baby Café sessions and provides one-on-one outpatient lactation appointments. Delivers community education on childbirth, infant feeding, and infant safety, and completes required documentation and data reporting. Works with interdisciplinary teams to support breastfeeding families and coordinates referrals and follow-up care.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- RN - New York State
- BLS
- IBCLC (must obtain within 1 year)
- Lactation Consultant Certification (or 1-2 years related experience)
- NRP (preferred)
