Landfill Attendant

The Landfill Attendant assists customers with recycling, material diversion, and waste disposal while managing the day-to-day operations of the Clairmont Centre for Recycling and Waste Management. This front-line role requires strong interpersonal skills to interact with the public and contractors, ensuring proper waste sorting, hazardous material identification, and facility maintenance. The position also involves operating scales and heavy equipment, educating users on waste diversion, and maintaining accurate records for County-supported initiatives.
