Landfill Operator

The Landfill Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill, or transfer station. Key tasks include transferring, spreading, covering, loading, and compacting waste or soil while ensuring equipment readiness and compliance with safety standards. The role requires conducting pre- and post-operation inspections, monitoring waste for unacceptable materials, and performing minor equipment maintenance.
