Landfill/Solid Waste Operator

This full-time, hourly position involves the safe and efficient operation of complex, heavy motor-driven earth-moving equipment at the County landfill. The role requires a high degree of skill in working to engineering grades, performing routine maintenance, and interacting with the public in close proximity to the working face. The incumbent serves as a Trained Sanitary Landfill Operator and ensures compliance with safety, cover, and environmental protection procedures.
