Lateral Police Officer

The City of Tigard Police Department is seeking qualified lateral police officers to serve in a community-focused role within a close-knit department of under 100 sworn officers. The position involves enforcing federal, state, and local laws, conducting patrols and investigations, and responding to a wide variety of emergency calls for service. Officers will also engage in community outreach, prepare detailed reports, and may participate in specialized assignments such as K-9, tactical, or school resource officer roles.
