Law Enforcement Officer

This position involves performing general duty law enforcement work for the Town's police department, including routine patrol, traffic accident and criminal investigations, and responding to domestic disputes. The officer serves as a highly visible presence in crime areas, enforcing laws and preventing crime while maintaining community relations. The role requires working under the supervision of a Police Sergeant and may include duties such as school resource officer assignments and canine unit support.
