About this role

Arcadia is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to ensure data integrity across its healthcare analytics platform by leveraging dbt, SQL, and Spark/Hudi. The role involves designing validation rules, monitoring data pipelines, and collaborating with engineering and clinical teams to maintain high-quality data for patient care decisions. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and familiarity with healthcare data standards and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

Author and maintain dbt models using Spark and Hudi from ingestion through transformation layers
Design and apply clinical data quality rules across silver and gold data layers
Triage and classify data quality alerts to distinguish source issues from transform failures
Optimize SQL performance for slow-running jobs on columnar databases
Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce data modeling standards and root cause triage
