About this role

The Lead Business Analyst – Actuarial Commercial Lines role sits within AIG's Global Data Office at the intersection of business strategy, data, and analytics. The position works closely with Commercial Lines Actuarial Groups to ensure a clear understanding of data needs while holding Global Data Warehouse Product Ownership responsibilities. Candidates will translate complex actuarial business requirements into actionable data engineering specifications by collaborating directly with data development teams to help shape how AIG uses data for decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead deep structured requirement sessions with senior actuaries to understand workflows and reporting needs
Facilitate alignment across actuaries and Data Office teams on project priorities and timelines
Develop roadmaps for actuarial data and tool development requirements
Translate actuarial requirements into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
Ensure compliance with data standards and maintain rigorous documentation for data lineage
