The Lead Employment Counsel at The Economist Group will lead and manage employment and people-related legal matters worldwide, reporting to the SVP, Legal and partnering closely with the People (HR) team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, shaping people-related policies and processes, and overseeing employment disputes and contentious matters. It also supports strategic work on cross-border employment issues, benefits and organisational change while upholding the Group's values.
