About this role

The Lead Engineer Control Software is responsible for the technical ownership and delivery of control system functions for complex power system and FACTS projects. This role involves hands-on control system design, leading testing and commissioning activities, and mentoring other engineers to ensure successful project delivery. The position requires strong technical expertise in control algorithms, simulation, and real-time testing for STATCOM/SVC systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement STATCOM/SVC control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink
Perform PSCAD simulations and RTDS-based real-time testing for controller validation
Lead software engineering activities and support commissioning activities

Skills

Qualifications

MSc/MTech or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Engineering, or equivalent
