About this role

As a Lead Engineer on Target's Cybersecurity AI Activation and Engineering team, you will serve as a technical anchor for engineering initiatives focused on AI-powered cybersecurity capabilities. The role involves creating and owning solutions that meet functional needs while influencing the wider team through thought leadership and scalable pattern development. You will collaborate with cybersecurity experts to evaluate emerging technologies, execute proof-of-concept activities, and contribute to foundational ML activities within the company's technical environment.

Responsibilities

Create and own engineered solutions for AI-powered cybersecurity initiatives
Evaluate emerging technologies and participate in technical decision-making
Execute research and proof-of-concept activities for new technologies
Provide thought leadership to promote re-use and scalable patterns
Lead complex construction and implementation activities ensuring architectural requirements are met
