About this role

The Lead Engineer, Grid Operations Technology provides senior engineering and technical leadership for the planning, development, and continuous improvement of technology supporting electric transmission and distribution system operations. This role serves as a subject matter expert across grid operations technologies, including ADMS, SCADA, and DERMS, while driving grid modernization and the integration of distributed energy resources. The position requires independent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient grid operations.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical leadership for grid operations technology supporting transmission and distribution operations
Develop and validate power system models and operational data supporting ADMS, EMS, and DERMS applications
Lead multidisciplinary technical initiatives from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and operational acceptance
