The Lead Engineer role in the Material Mechanics and Durability organization at GE Aerospace Research is responsible for developing an understanding of novel materials and material systems. This involves conducting and coordinating experiments to probe fundamental material behavior, translating results into constitutive models and failure criteria, and supporting critical field issues through analysis and testing.
