About this role

The Lead Estimator at Layup Parts is responsible for owning and leading the estimating function for composite parts and tooling in a fast-paced, early-stage manufacturing startup. The role partners closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to develop accurate quotations and lead-time estimates for aerospace, defense, and motorsports customers. It also involves shaping internal costing frameworks and software-integrated estimating rules to support scalable growth. This position operates at both strategic and tactical levels, supporting current operations while designing systems for future expansion.
