About this role

Lead Commodity Specialist Logistics is responsible for leading and executing strategic sourcing activities for the Logistics spend with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions and year-over-year continuous improvement while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned modes of transport
Drive annual productivity improvements
Execute end-to-end sourcing process: strategy, market analysis, negotiation, carrier selection, and contract creation
Track performance of key logistics service providers in Safety, Quality, and Delivery
Monitor strategy implementation and contract compliance

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain3 years of experience in Logistics, Sourcing, Operations, or Supply ChainFluency in English
