Lead Machinist

This role involves operating and setting up complex multi-axis CNC equipment, including Mazak 5-axis horizontal machining centers and Palletech robotic pallet systems, while serving as a primary resource for operators and mentoring junior team members. The position requires validating new programs, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with engineering to improve manufacturing processes and reduce scrap. As a non-exempt, non-supervisory lead, the individual sets the tone on the floor through example and acts as the first point of contact for safety incidents when leadership is unavailable.
