About this role

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer serves as a technical leader responsible for the design, industrialization, validation, and continuous improvement of large-form mechanical manufacturing processes at Jabil. This role acts as the Manufacturing Engineering Subject Matter Expert for fastening systems, assembly fixtures, production tooling, and mechanical automation, partnering with cross-functional teams to support New Product Introduction and production ramp-up. The position drives the development of safe, repeatable, and scalable manufacturing processes to enhance operational effectiveness, product quality, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

Lead design for manufacturability and assembly reviews during new product introduction
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process flows
Design and manage production tooling, fixtures, and automation initiatives

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
