Lead QA Engineer

The Lead QA Engineer will own QA strategy and execution across Backcountry’s digital properties, including web, API, and mobile, with an AI‑first approach. This high‑ownership role involves establishing Playwright as the primary automation framework, defining release validation standards, and driving measurable improvements in regression stability, defect trends, and test coverage. The position also includes building and mentoring a QA team, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating cross‑functionally to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
