About this role

Serves as an expert/lead team member coordinating communication among patients, families, clinicians, and payors to obtain demographic and insurance information and ensure accurate registration and payment of hospital accounts. Provides registration, clerical, and billing support including insurance verification, chart creation, scheduling, and charge entry. Collaborates with Appeals and Patient Accounting to prevent and overturn claim denials and supports hiring and orientation of new registration staff.
